CATHÉRINE LOVATT

Ceramic designer 

De logica van het object. Hoe materiaal, productie en functionaliteit in elkaar passen omvat dit de esthetiek in Lovatt's werk.

Cathérine studied ceramics at Sint-Lucas Institute Ghent where she graduated in 1989. From 1989 until 1996 she worked as a freelande ceramicist/designer for companies like Domani and several design stores in Belgium, Japan, Italy, France & the Netherlands. Also her work was shown at several expositions.

In 2007 she opened a ceramics studio under the name 'Cathérine Lovatt' and in 2008 started she as a designer for companies as Serax & Belgoflor.
